With Gracious Professionalism, fierce competition and mutual gain are not separate notions.
Team Fusion 4133 is an independent student/mentor-ship based robotics team located in Helena, MT. We compete in the FIRST® Tech Challenge. Fusion strives to participate within the spirit of FIRST® ; we want everyone to learn the value of teamwork and Gracious Professionalism as well as be involved, share ideas and contribute to the team. The team believes strongly in the engineering process and that planning and teamwork are the two most important aspects of this process. Team 4133 was founded in 2010 and since then has achieved much success. This success can be attributed to a combination of dedicated student membership, active mentors and amazing parental support.
The name 'Fusion' is not limited to FTC team 4133. There are also two FLL teams, and two additional FTC teams in the organization. Each level of competition may be different in its aspects, but they all share the same core motto: Gracious Professionalism. We take this statement to mean, "Take the competition seriously, but make sure to compete with everyone at their best." With this is mind all four teams in our organization work to better each other and all the teams we've met through our years of competition.
